Tour Guide – St. Croix
Do you love St. Croix and have a passion for its food, history & culture? Can you command a crowd, make them laugh and get them excited about the local history and our amazing food? If so, then this job is for you!
Virgin Islands Food Tours offers a guided food tasting and cultural walking tour of downtown Christiansted that transforms visitors to locals and we are seeking passionate, fun and highly energetic people as Tour Guides!
Positions are part-time and/or on-call.
Requirements
Applicants must possess strong leadership abilities, charisma, a wonderful sense of humor, excellent communication skills and a deep passion for St. Croix and its food.
Leading a food tour is a combination of quick thinking on your feet, advanced storytelling and building relationships with and among your guests. We provide you all the training and get you up to speed on your knowledge of St. Croix history and its incredible foods. Once you’re up and leading a food tour, you’ll be amazed that you’re getting paid handsomely for something so ridiculously fun and rewarding. - Must be available to train and lead tours year round.
